The final day of 2024 is upon us, and I think we can all agree it was a mystifying year. Some things happened that were completely outside of our control, but I’m a firm believer that astrology is here to help us work with the energies more consciously and to manifest the absolute highest expression of the transits that are impacting us.

And do astrologers themselves apply the techniques they discuss, and does it work? Hell yes! In 2024, I practiced what I preached and strategically planned out my projects, vacation time, etc. according to the lunation cycles and it played out exactly as I had hoped! There were, like all of us, moments when I felt like burnout was a risk, however, at the end of the day I used my own astrologically-informed 2024 roadmap to plan out the moments when I’d push forward versus pull back. I have really enjoyed finding the balance between work and rest, risk-taking and cautiousness. It was like swimming with the current in a beautiful rhythm.

I would strongly recommend you do the same as you approach 2025, which objectively is more complex but also more powerful than 2024. I could go on and on about the reasons, but just know that essentially all of the planets will change signs (save for the minor planet Chiron and also Pluto, which is still symbolically in the process of transitioning through those early degrees of Aquarius).

This is why I pushed myself to elevate the quality of my forecasts even further this year. Although your Rising Sign dictates the Houses of your birth chart, you can apply a Derivative technique where, for example, we know that Aries is the 6th sign relative to Scorpio, so transits of planets in Aries will have 6th House implications for Scorpios, even if someone has their Sun or Moon in Scorpio rather than the Rising sign.
