Most Significant Dates Remaining in 2026
2026 has already been a ride, hasn’t it? And yet, compared to the transits still to come, this moment might feel like the calm before the storm. Let’s break down the upcoming astrological dates that could shape the rest of the year and ripple out for decades to come.
April 17th: The Aries New Moon arrives conjunct Chiron, the wounded healer. The dispositor of the new moon, Mars, will be in his home sign of Aries and conjunct Saturn. This combines impulse and raw force with discipline, and it’s unfortunately a war-like alignment. On a global scale, this could signal militaristic movements or intensified conflict. Since Neptune is also partaking in the conjunction, I wonder if there is a chemical spill somewhere, or a maritime conflict on the horizon (the most obvious involving the Strait of Hormuz). Neptune also represents mysterious substances, including those underground, which includes oil. Maybe this transit will constrict oil supplies, or a ship at sea will go down in a surprise attack. I’ve highlighted this new moon for about two years now as being the harbinger of a broader religiously-motivated war as well.
On a personal level, thought, this new moon will be more about reclaiming your power. This energy urges you to stand up against anyone who has bullied or undermined you. It’s a fiery, courageous moment to finally release old wounds and channel your passion constructively. Mars-Saturn conjunctions initiate every two years and represent moments to take action on something that benefits you long-term.
Placements most affected: 20-29 degrees of Aries, Libra, Capricorn and Cancer
April 23rd: Just one week later, Venus meets Uranus in Taurus for the last time in this cycle. These planets previously met on July 4th last year at the exact same degree (29 Taurus). Reflect on what you were going through in late June and early July 2025. Did your values shift? Did any of your relationships undergo an unexpected shock?
This time around, expect some additional disruptions in stable relationships. In some cases, the disruptive event could help a stagnant relationship pivot in a refreshing direction.
Given Taurus’ association with hard assets, the conjunction could create a shock wave across the financial system, particularly in the tech and AI sectors. Of course, oil prices could be the culprit in this case given the chokepoint in the Strait of Hormuz.
Placements most affected: 20-29 degrees of Leo, Taurus, Scorpio and Aquarius
June 9th: In lighter news, Jupiter and Venus come together in Cancer at the 25th degree. The cute story here is that Jupiter and Venus previously met in Cancer last year on August 12th, just before Jupiter’s pre-retrograde shadow phase, and when they meet again this June, Jupiter will be a few minutes of arc past its post-retrograde shadow phase.
This is a warm, nurturing energy that shines on your home and family life. Wherever Cancer falls in your chart, expect optimism and growth. Overall, it’s a time to invest in your emotional and physical spaces, reconnect with loved ones, and amplify harmony in your personal sanctuary. For late-degree cardinal sign placements, a new love could blossom or more resources could come pouring in.
Placements most affected: 20-29 degrees of Aries, Libra, Capricorn and Cancer
July 4th: The U.S. celebrates its 250th birthday under volatile skies. Mars and Uranus will meet in Gemini, coinciding with their placement in the U.S. birth chart. This alignment, coupled with Jupiter opposing Pluto, could indicate a week of chaos and transformation.
Mars-Uranus aspects are known for their unpredictability, and in Gemini, they bring rapid shifts in communication, technology, transportation and education. The week from late June into early July feels electric—charged with both potential and volatility.
The Mars-Uranus cycle typically lasts just under two years and within that two-year stretch, they form tense aspects multiple times, however, this cycle has become more volatile because Pluto is now in Aquarius, Uranus’ ruling sign. Therefore, anytime Mars aspects Uranus over the next 18 years, Uranus will act as the dispositor to Pluto, with Pluto representing the cycle of death & rebirth and the intense fringes that are explored in the underworld.
The next conjunction could be even more chaotic than the previous one which occurred on July 15th, 2024. It’s definitely a concerning alignment in Gemini, and the sheer concentration of Fire & Air energy conjures further themes surrounding change, conflict and war.
In all honesty, I would avoid mass gatherings around that time, but there’s also another consideration—what if we didn’t feed the fear? What if we instead channeled the higher expression of this Gemini and Aquarius energy by fostering a sense of community, by building stronger connections with our neighbors, etc?
Placements most affected: 0-9 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces and Virgo
August 12th: A total solar eclipse in Leo brings a much-needed moment of brightness and joy. With Mercury conjunct Jupiter, this eclipse carries an energy of optimism, creativity, and self-expression. It’s a time to embrace your inner light and let it shine boldly.
If you’re planning a big pitch or presentation, or if you’re trying to attract a bigger audience, this eclipse and the Jupiter-Mercury conjunction attached to it should be a very fruitful time for you.
Placements most affected: 15-25 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus and Scorpio
Mid-October: Venus retrograde squares Pluto, marking a pivotal economic shift. This could be the moment we see AI-induced disruptions hit the job market hard, with exponential increases in unemployment claims possible. On a personal level, this transit asks you to confront your relationship with power, control, and value—whether in love, money, or career.
The Venus retrograde could help you detach from someone you were clinging to previously, or in the worst case scenario it could expose an affair.
March 13-15 (now!): Mars conjoins Mercury retrograde in Pisces. This is a tough conjunction for travel and transportation. I chose not to fly this weekend because of this conjunction, and lo and behold all the airports in DC are shut down due to a strange smell emanating from the area (Pisces rules toxins). I hope everyone is okay and that no further disruptions occur, but this is another demonstration of astrology’s reliability as a predictive tool.
If you’d like to understand how to use astrology to your advantage, take my Advanced Astrology class this weekend. I unveil my secret, custom techniques that illuminate birth charts with ease and efficacy. Most astrologers are using the wrong techniques which limits the accuracy of their readings. The main reason I’ve been able to stand out as a reader is that I saw another system underlying the one that astrologers typically use. Take this class regardless of the level you’re at currently, because honestly it’s worth having access to my custom methods which can deliver deeper insights.
