The Truth Comes Out
The Sagittarius Full Moon peaks at 12:43 AM PST on June 11th, 2025. This full moon is delivering some type of compelling or undeniable truth, both individually and collectively. With Sagittarius ruled by Jupiter and its opposite sign Gemini ruled by Mercury, this axis calls attention to both the contrast and complimentary nature between everyday information and universal wisdom. And under this Full Moon, we’re receiving a heavy dose of profound, sometimes uncomfortable, honesty and clarity.
Sagittarius: The Sign of Truth, Honesty, Opportunity and Perspective
Sagittarius aims high and seeks answers to life’s biggest questions encompassing justice, ethics, spirituality, natural law. It rules higher education, long-distance travel, and the moral codes that feel inherent to humanity. Sagittarius is the professor, the preacher or the philosopher. It’s concerned with the overarching "why" and the reason behind everything.
And as per usual, this Full Moon is a release point. It marks the climax of stories that began two weeks ago and also six months ago, at the Sagittarius New Moon on December 1. What did you believe then? What’s changed?
Sagittarius wants you to zoom out and look at the moral arc. What’s right? What’s just? What’s true? And, perhaps most importantly, what are you no longer willing to pretend isn’t true?
Jupiter Enters Cancer
With this Full Moon, we see Jupiter (the ruler of Sagittarius) enter Cancer. That shift alone changes the collective mood. Jupiter in Gemini was about ingesting endless information, news, facts and seeing all angles. With its ingress into Cancer, we move into a year-long focus on emotional security, family, home, and belonging.
Jupiter is stronger in Cancer than it is in Gemini. It’s more nurturing, more protective. Jupiter amplifies. It brings more — more abundance but also more inflation, more of everything. These inflationary effects can be negative if connected to a difficult energy, however, if used wisely it can deliver more success or serendipity. So check where Cancer falls in your whole sign chart. That house is where expansion is unfolding through mid-2026.
Mercury Conjunct Jupiter
Mercury is conjunct Jupiter in Cancer, which is significant because Jupiter rules the Full Moon. This conjunction is revealing information in an emotional, intuitive way. This isn’t about spreadsheets or analytics—this is someone letting their emotions pour out of them.
With Mercury conjunct Jupiter there could also be some very opportune conversations happening. You are in a prime position to deliver the right message to the right person at the right time and secure a fantastic opportunity (Sagittarius as a sign can spot opportunities like no other!).
Some of these confessions will be healing. Others will be destabilizing. But all of them are revealing. That’s the through-line of this Full Moon: honest statements that either clarify or challenge our notion of the truth.
Mercury & Jupiter Inconjunct Pluto
Mercury also forms an inconjunct to Pluto, with Jupiter forming a wide inconjunct to Pluto, suggesting that secrets could be revealed, or subconscious forces could be tapped into that transform someone’s entire belief structure.
Secrets may surface around finances, leadership, or values we assumed were shared. We’re being forced to reconsider what we treasure on both personal and collective levels. Do your views align with the systems you're part of? With the people you trust?
In some cases, this aspect delivers an abrupt realization that something is corrupt, hidden, or morally out of step (Pluto deals with power and corruption).
Mars Square Uranus
Perhaps the most electric aspect of the full moon is Mars squaring Uranus. This is rebellion. This is protest. This is the aspect that stirs revolutions and we're already seeing its effects in places like Los Angeles.
This square fuels emotional volatility, abrupt action, and fearless expression of authentic ideas. Don’t be surprised if people around you seem charged, reactive, or suddenly emboldened to say what they’ve been holding back.
In our personal lives, it could show up as quitting a job, ending a toxic dynamic, or radically changing course. Collectively, it’s about confronting political systems that are no longer just.
Venus Square Pluto
Relationships are also under the microscope, thanks to Venus squaring Pluto. Some will uncover secrets, infidelity, betrayal, or a mismatch in values. Others may realize they’ve been holding back an overdue transformation in their relationship and embrace the metamorphosis. In other cases bitterness can arise or unhealthy power dynamics can be illuminated.
Even the Trump-Elon Musk public fallout mirrors this Venus-Pluto drama (as well as the recent Venus-Chiron conjunction).
Mercury's Aspects
Mercury in Cancer is squaring both Neptune and Saturn and is inconjunct Pluto. We are sorting through a lot…e.g. emotional noise, practical opportunities, spiritual insight, and intuitive impressions. Some will receive messages from their subconscious. Others may cut off contact with someone. During this time, remember that just because something feels meaningful doesn’t mean it is. Not everything is a sign. Sometimes, a coincidence is just a coincidence. The real wisdom is in being able to say, “I know what I don’t know” — the latter statement is in some ways the goal of Mercury square Saturn transit.
Political and Societal Undercurrents
This Full Moon also brings collective themes to light around borders and immigration. Jupiter in Cancer wants to nurture and include but Saturn in Aries, squaring Jupiter, is restrictive, control-oriented and aggressive in the Yang Mars-ruled sign.
Examining the tension in cities like Los Angeles is underscoring the reality that there is a severe incongruence in the visions & ideals set on almost every scale — ideologies are diverging significantly both within the collective and between the collective and the executive branch. As more planets fall into the sign of Aries next spring, tension could reach a fever pitch, something I’ve been foreseeing for about a year now.
The presence of National Guard troops in cities like Los Angeles, the reported travel bans, and the ban around international students attending universities like Harvard speak to this square. There’s a clash between expansion and contraction, welcoming and exclusion, and the collective is caught up in this frenzy wondering “how the hell did we get here? What underlying belief systems enabled this?”
As I predicted in my “Astrology of 2025” webinar back in January, early to mid June would mark a major turning point regarding immigration and travel bans in the US, reflected in this Saturn-Jupiter square.
Combined with Mars square Uranus, this is a high stress week ahead and it’s important to discern genuine demands for reform from all-out chaos. This square can quickly become unwieldy and undermine the attempt at driving progress.
So on both a personal and collective level, we must hold onto an anchor within ourselves, one ideally bound by a clear set of values. Let this be a guide even as the chaos and frenetic energy mounts. Ideally, we’ll emerge from the Mars-Uranus square championing individual freedom and authentic expression.
Btw the Sagittarius Full Moon is forming many significant aspects to Donald Trump’s chart. He’s going through his Mars Return, the Sag Full Moon is very near his natal Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Sag, and the Mars-Uranus square is the first opening square to the Mars-Uranus conjunction from last July 2024 when the chaos erupted at his rally in Pennsylvania.
The combination of these influences implies that this could be a very unpredictable full moon for him. And with Sagittarius excelling at the dissemination of information, and Venus square Pluto leaking secrets, I wouldn’t be surprised if a shocking secret pertaining to Trump is brought out into the open. Also remember that Sagittarius rules long-distance flight & travel, so that theme could also be involved…
